I bought one too - it's great for the LC fitted mount

I put one on a 590 last week.  Very tight fit and slightly covers the info at the top unless you have the screen tilted directly at you.  Than it does not provide much shade.  Better than nothing though so it's staying on.

I have an older model. Once the band things disintegrated I find the red rubber bands, dropped on the yard in profusion by the postie, work well to hold it in place. Agree with RTman re covering the info at the top of the screen. It doesn't have much effect on the back reflection from hi-viz but that's a whole other can of worms probably best left unopened.

Mine fits so tight on a 590 I'll probably have to wait for the strips to give in before I can sling it.

Don't you have a collection of red rubber bands?

Having being told very firmly by RTman10 on a number of occasions that "thou shalt stow thy Satnav in the left hand cubby"- what the b* hell do I do with the shade?  ;)

That would have been a problem except.  I don't think the Nav IV/V needs one as they have far superior screens and in my case haven't got a cubby hole any more. Glad to hear you listened to my instructions.

A 2016 what.  On an LC fitted with A Nav IV/V the elastic straps might result in it being difficult to get it locked on properly.

Sorry.....I just assume since it's an RT forum we are always talking about an RT.

2016 R1200RT

For such little money...might be worthy of a try.
