Having dropped my bike twice in the last few weeks it might be something I should look into again.

They appear to be just as limiting in their colour choices as BMW.
What do they do to the gallon?

Agreed Grey and a dirty gold for 2017.  Doing about 50mpg at moment but expec it to drop as we get it going a bit more.
Better Email me for any other detailed info.  We don't want to upset David.

looks a good choice, if your too old or inept enough to ride a motorcycle  8)  At least you'll never drop it.

lol, wasn't meant to be cruel, but if circumstances change and you still want the freedom, then I think its a good choice. Ride it with pride and like I said, looking forward to my first pillion ride :)

It will be available down the side of the Rhine.  But only while wearing chromed German Army style helmets.

I'm not, as far as I'm aware as you don't have to own an RT to post on this forum, having knowledge of RTs and BMW in general is useful.  I think I can put up with Jon not owning an RT anymore as long as he still shares his knowledge. At least most of his input is useful, I did say most by the way  8)

Not quite sure what you agree with.  Are you saying  one must only mention BMW here.
I said I intended to buy a Can Am and quite a few asked for my findings.  That's all I've done.
My knowledge of the RT is reasonably detailed having owned a total of nine and worked as a Parts and Accesssories manager for a major UK dealer for over 8 years.  As such I consider I can pass on my experiences here even though at the moment I don't own one.

Maybe a can am section would work.

I have enjoyed the CanAm reports.  Yes, it's a BMW forum, but we talk about all kinds of topics here, let's not be narrow of mind or brand.  It doesn't matter WHAT you ride, it only matters THAT you ride and that you enjoy yourself.  Cheers all.

Combination of a fully loaded bike and cobbled streets here in Spain.

Luckily both were standing drops and there appears to be no damage.

I drive for a living and i have sort of come to the conclusion that I am a better driver than I am a rider. This is where the Can Am makes a lot of sense to me.
I was born with nothing and unfortunately I still have most of it left.

Funnily enough I saw my first one yesterday on the A1 coming off at the Baldock exit.

You mean there are two of them because it wasn't me. Common as muck.
