There is a Premier inn at Melton Mowbray.

Passed by that one on Saturday.  Take your ear plugs, its very close to the main road.  See you in FW next week.When are you heading north.  Lots are leaving on Friday.

To avoid any confusion, the PI I've booked is Leicester South (Oadby),  on London Road near Great Glen, not Melton Mowbray.

With this ride passing through Melton Mowbray, perhaps we should call it the "Pork Pie Run".

Those pies at the Anchor Inn, Fladbury will take some beating.

Have just booked online the Premier Inn, Leicester South (Oadby),  for Friday 6th & Saturday 7th July 2018.

For some reason, can't yet just book Saturday 7th only online.

Have just checked with PI, Saturday 7th only rooms have still not yet been released.
My understanding, is that if you book 2 nights on a "Flex" rate, this can be changed to one night only, nearer the time.

Don't forget, the PI only has 30 rooms, book early to avoid disappointment.

Just tried to call up and book the Saturday night only...


The number you've shown David, isn't obtainable. Instead, I called their 0871 527 8000 number and had to wait in a 6 minute queue at 13p per minute...  >:(


I was told it's not possible to book just the Saturday night. I explained that it can't be full, as I can book Fri and Sat online.. She said its restricted, so you can't book in for the Saturday only....


Have now read your tip above about the flex rate, so will try that.
