Snake Pass in the rain

Post by Paggers »

With the planned 'Northern Monkeys' ride for Saturday 15th July cancelled due to the weather I decided to pay a long overdue visit to my brother. With some time to spare I planned a circuitous route that included Snake Pass. Below is a link to the video I posted to YouTube showing some of the trip. The weather was pretty miserable (I think we were well advised to cancel the organised trip) but I had a blast all the same.

That's right because I was up there (not the Snake) this morning in the bright sunshine and heat, doing some of the trip we didn't do on Saturday. Absolutely stunning scenery, weather superb and not too busy. Lucky really that it's on my doorstep, never get tired of getting out up there. Prefer the weather I had today to that which Paggers endured on Saturday though.
Must organise that event again for the 'Northern Monkeys', a real cracker of a ride.

It's my only bike so I don't have much choice. Not that I'm complaining - for a 'does all I need it to' bike there is no competition for the RT.

I use my 2014 for blood biking when not on one of our marked bikes, its covered 10k since Jan 2016 in all weathers and no corrosion (rust lol) they built them better in 2014 and used real paint   and Quartz Blue is the fasted colour, so all good  8)
