Bar Risers on LC

Post by Glencoe »

Has anyone fitted the Wunderlich bar risers to their bike?
I'm thinking I need a bit of a lift from the handlebars and maybe some rearward movement too.
I believe that there is a reasonable lift from the risers but not too much additional movement to the rear.
Anyone used them?

Just don't ask me to get up and dance..

I know some have, but the general feeling I get is that the Ilium Works items are much better:

Iliumworks gets a +1
Mine are a  improvement over stock bars
No need for longer cables/hoses
Rent the install tool, video says 30min install, that’s only if you know what your doing
Allow 2 hours

Helibars do a set as well, which some have used, 1.75 rise, 1.25inch to the rear. No cable extensions required, just depends which look you prefer. If you use this ergo site, you can put in the different rise etc and see what impact it will have on your riding position

I have fitted a set of Ilium bar risers to my 2017, I'm 6'2 and appreciate the extra height and rearward slant.  Although not perfect, they're not bad either.  Much cheaper than the other options I've seen and not as clean looking as some others in my opinion.  No need to change cables although none have that need as far as I know.

+1 on the Ilium risers. Easy to install if you rent the removal tool.
