The kit is very easy to fit. A replacement different length screw on the right side front is supplied out of memory.
Certainly keeps more "weather" off rider and passenger.
If I can find the instructions I'll post them.

Looks well thought through. So what do the panels screw to on the bike to hold them in place?

I've got the bits. Just need to fit them in the right places!

I can help with the lower sections, which are separate to the parts around the passenger footrests.


To fit the lower 2 sections you have to remove the the 2 engine spoilers, the black plastic sections around the lower half of the engine and clip the front lower sections from the weather protection kit to their respective sides using the clamps (spring clips), there are recesses in the plastic to align them.


Re-install each of the new larger panels, the extended panel has an additional screw hole which allows it to be fixed to the frame (M5x14.5), the tapped hole already exists on the frame, mine had some paint in the threads so it might best to run a M5 tap into the hole first.

Well thanks to all of you. The kit all fitted perfectly and with the photographs and SweRT's pdf it was a doddle. Now when I get out in the rain, I will give you feedback as to if I think it is worth it. So far, I think they are worth paying more than the alternative ones that are available because of the fit, finish and integration.

I know this is an old thread but I’ve just fitted the kit, despite some concern that lowering the footrest would somehow make life difficult.

I need not have worried - it fits perfectly,  looks good, and works well.
