Had a nice 200 mile ride out,
Even put the bikes in order, youngest to oldest and best looking to retro......

I see you 'Northern Monkeys' are still at it. Well after a rest period of 4 years I decided that the itch had to be scratched again. Managed to find a Transalp XLV650, 2000 plate with 12900 (yes, no noughts missing) miles on the clock. Takes me back because I had one 20 years ago but I think we've both added a few more squeaks and rattles since those halcyon days. The 'new bike' needs a few things sorting but once upto spec we'll be raring to go. If you guys are heading down to the Peak District or Lincolnshire Wolds anytime, I would appreciate a shout assuming Hondas are allowed. It would be good to meet up again.

Just noticed that the plastics on a GS are made from re-cycled wheelie bins.

The bin looks finished off.......they ran out of blue for the GS

Thats actually quite funny David :enjoying: not as good as your photo cropping skills to get that owd barge at the end of the photo though :D

At least its partially finished  :D  They ran out of everything for the XR! They even forgot to put the foam in the seat  :alas:

I'm on my third year of the round britain rally, 80 landmarks to visit in england scotland and wales, it does throw up some gems....
