Re: What did you do today?
Cut the grass today and snapped the mower handle halfway through. Had to get the dust off the Mig to weld it together. Warning do not weld in a singlet, shorts and trainers. Burnt myself 5 times from the spitting. Happy days

Re: What did you do today?
Dropped my spare specs! Wearing contacts for riding means I have to bring spare spectacles when we’re touring, and I broke the things by dislodging one of the lens. So it was off to Lefkada town about 30 mins away where fortunately they were easily repaired F.O.C.
The temps were 30c when we started out at 9am and 38.5c at midday… but the beer and the sea were suitably cool when we got back.
Oh, and I met this little chap crossing the road ahead of me

Re: What did you do today?
Had a trundle around Wiltshire, to scrub in the new tyres.
The MAMILs were out in force, but no trouble for the RT. Stopped in Pewsey for a coffee at the Community Cafe, before continuing the run in lovely 30C warm, sunny weather. You can just see my red RT, surrounded by cyclists. In this weather, I'm betting some of them wanted to swap their carbon fibre mounts for one with an engine. Most of them looked well frazzled, even though they were half (or less) my age!

Re: What did you do today?
This morning was a 30 min run to the nearby tiny fishing village of Mytikos, a breathtakingly beautiful place with an undulating winding road to get there. On the road across we met -
A pack of stray dogs.
A herd of goats, complete with ancient goat herder.
Several stray cows.
And of course your average Greek driver (some in HGV’s) who can’t be arsed to turn the steering wheel, so tend to straight-line bends.
The pain is that the bike video is on loop record so they’ll all have disappeared by the time we get back, although my wife snapped this one wandering across

Been to Thessaloniki and Mytikos a couple of times. I agree it is stunning scenery. Lovely roads around Mount Olympus too
