Re: Another R1200RT LC stolen
I am really sorry to hear about your loss.
I have just obtained very competitive GAP insurance from BMW Finance for my non-BMW machine as I am very worried about thefts in the London area.
In talking to the salesperson, we discussed the reason why many Londoners have their quotes for BMW Insurance automatically referred to the underwriters. The underwriters must now ask specific questions about how the machine is used, parked etc. If they did not do this with the ongoing spate of thefts, some premiums would be ridiculous.

Sorry to hear about your bike being stolen and only circa 10 miles from the other stolen bike this morning. May I ask if it had the keyless system.

Sounds like a tow truck is on a mission in your area.
Sorry for your loss. I know the feeling, I had two bikes
stolen many years back. Have become paranoid, and
still am in some way. Very important is where you park
the bike.

That's a shitter! I hope it gets found & returned unharmed. I've seen it posted of the RT owners Facebook page (along with the 64 plate one) but they're not open to share which limits the range they can be seen or an eye kept out unfortunately. Best of luck!
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)
