Hello from Essex

Hi all,
I've been riding since I was 16, now 49 nearly, and have owned a 2010 R1200RT se for 5 years plus other bikes and countless Vespa's & Lambretta's.
Unfortunately last month on a trip through France a lorry shed its tyre and a large chunk of it went through the front of my bike causing £4400+ worth of damage. I'm guessing as the bike is only worth at most £6000 its going to be written off.

On a positive note, I've just purchased a 2013 RT and I will taking delivery later this month.
