Wider pillion footpegs

Does anybody know whether the wide pillion footpegs of the 1600 GTL will fit a 2016 RT1200.
My wife thinks that the wider footpegs will make getting on the RT a lot easier.

Seems unlikely, the footrest plates & footrests look very different to each other.
