Not long now.....I've had my new 19 registration confirmed and a delivery date of Friday the 22nd.

That gives me a week to fit my spot lights, horn, addition rear lights and engine bars. Down side is I also have a week of looking at it without being able to take it out on the road

Great, same week as mine, just hope it doesn't slip and we get caught in the Brexit nightmare :)

What engine bars are you thinking of getting?

I'm not. I will buy some cylinder protectors when they come out, but I'm not a fan of putting bars on an RT. Just don't drop it :)

I already have them on my current 17 reg, may have to modify the mountings as the 1250 engine is wider. All the other stuff should be direct swap over.

I could get a plate made from my old log book, prior to the bike being collected and use that plate for a week.... :silence:

The rears would fit, but not the front. Illium are making some at the moment, but I don't think anyone has made any yet that fit the 1250.

Wunderlich have them on their web site as do Nippy Normans but they’re not β€˜in stock’ which suggests still in fabrication or building up production.

When I have the fairing off I will be able to see the mounting points and work out what I need to modify. I'll do the mod's at work and then have them powder coated locally again for a few quid.
I mount the D4's on them as I prefer the lights lower down.

I think the 'multi bike reg plate' also qualifies for free fuel from most petrol stations, but better check with Martin first.... ;)

I just read Illium bars will be ready the end of March. I guess if you fit engine bars you don't need cylinder head protectors. They are going to be north of Β£200 for the 1250, so that money is a chunk off the price of bars.

The wunderlich ones are due in March apparently with a choice of 3 different finishes. I have a silver finish engine on a black bike so think black or silver will look ok

Well the new bike's been delivered without a scratch,  :)  I have a week to strip it and get my parts back on it. Lets hope it's not raining on the 1st March or it will be getting wet on it's first outing.

Must say the service from Allan Jefferies has always been first class and hassle free

Your lucky, I haven't even got a confirmed build or delivery date yet. So the end of March is looking doubtful.
