Be interesting to see how this turns out. They mention that the system can be overridden or switched off, so what's the point? People that drive at excessive speeds routinely are simply going to turn it off every time they get in the car.

That article is a little scary, particularly as i'm looking fwd to some quick (where appropriate to do so) but safe riding on the 1250 hopefully beyond 2022. However 30, 40 & 50 limits are normally there for good reasons and kiddies often one of them (for 30 limits) so I try to adhere to these limits (often going even slower where a kiddy might pop out) and believe we all should do. However the open road is another matter & some roads lend themselves to quicker riding where appropriate as long as we are riding within our limits, not offending / disturbing other road users and can see far enough ahead for the speed we are going.
