Engine check fault?

I have a 2010 1200Rt that wont start. It simply wont make any noise to fire up the engine, no clicks nothing, tried to jump it off my car - nothing.I have tested the battery it's fully charged, cleaned the connections. When i turn the key there are no checks done by the on board computer, which is weird. I have been riding it within the last two weeks without problems, it's been sat with a oxford solar charger on it. When I initially pushed it off the centre stand the alarm went off but I never turn it on, so I'm wondering if there is a something going on with the alarm that needs a reset ?
