Bonding with the new toy

Post by slparry »

Been using the K1 quite a bit recently …. and I love it. Despite its 30 years of age I find it surprisingly modern riding, comfy, good brakes, good handling with a surprising turn of speed.

I find the 16 v engine needs more revs than the old 8 valve motor to get it in the flow but once she does it's easy to find it flowing to silly speeds :)

Went up the Horseshoe Pass the other day and there was a guy taking pics of the bikes. Found him on Facebook and he very generously gifted me the pics he'd taken :D
