Navigator V Problem

I recently returned from New Zealand using the Navigator V it worked fine our maps are Australia and New Zealand. Trying back on the RT it says "cannot calculate route" no matter where I set the destination. It has on an off an issue where it "blues out" the top 20% of the map but continues to work.


Thinking it was a memory issue I deleted tracks. It knows where I am now but the streets immediately around me do not show, should I re install the maps?

I would try re-install maps, if still a problem. Contact Garmin (there is a NAV group that are very helpful)

Thank you I will try hopefully it's not on the way out, mate with similar age unit died earlier this year :-)

They have 5yr warranty, at least on the battery as far as I know. If you have problems still I would call Garmin, they are usually very helpful.
