BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

Hi,
I intend to fit a fuse block to my r1250rt to power my cameras and spotlights.
I'm new to BM's and need to know where to take an ignition live feed from, is there a dedicated lead for this.
Pics would be great if possible.

I took a pilot from the tail light, that will provide a few milliamps to drive a relay but anything more will interfere with the CAN systems

Under the seat there are two fuses that are switched.  I tap into one of them with a positap

On my 2016 model I use a feed from the aux socket on the right hand fairing to a relay .  Works fine,  just tapped into it from the back


Horn bracket was a handy earth point.
