Gear lever
Gear lever
Hi All, any advice please regard gear lever position / length. With my riding boots on (size 12 eeeek) it's difficult to get foot in the correct place to change up. .... is there a modified longer gear lever available please ? Thank you Robbo.

Re: Gear lever
It's pretty straightforward to raise and lower the lever on my 2009 RT. Just remove the cinch bolt at the bottom, remove the lever (recommend you use a marker to note the original position) and rotate it up to accommodate your your pontoons, replace on the spindle and tighten. There is a "fine-tuning" adjuster that hardly seems to move it at all. NOTE: I raised it too high and, on a rough road, found I was inadvertently shifting down when the bottom my foot hit the lever during a bounce. Disconcerting. You may have to find a longer lever in the end. Good luck.
