2017 RT ESA fault

Post by RC51 Tofuman »

2 weeks ago my ESA Fault appeared. Then noticed my ride quality went to crap. Feeling every bump on the road.

Got my rear ESA retrofitted by Ted Porter with Wilbur Shock /ESA. Got it installed.  However here is the catch......

Dealer could not reset the ESA Fault. The BMW computer says it does Not detect/see the Front ESA.
Any thoughts?
Could it be that the Front ESA failed?

On my ride home I noticed Alot of Rebound from the front end.

The Rear ESA is dampened and working accordingly.  I am not all over the road.

I placed an order for a New Front ESA from Ted Porter

Your responses are appreciated

Responses ?  - deepest sympathy !!

My bike is approaching the same mileage, so I'm hoping not to have the same issues.  I hate to think what repair / replacement would cost at a BMW dealer, and I'm guessing that Ted Porter isn't anywhere close to Scotland (you don't show anything to suggest where you are in the world).
