Unknown blade fuse 2005 RT

Post by jackronner »

I've reattached my battery after the cable and wires were snipped out by a thief, but can't ID a wire with a 15 amp fuse holder.  It's under the seat.  It runs to a connector with a cap under which is a thick, round, hollow electrical connector resembling cap on a spark plug.  The bike starts and the electrics seem fine except it runs rough at idle and occasionally stalls at idle. Doesn't trace to the front or back seat heaters.  Is it an auxiliary power connection, and could it affect the idle?

It’s most likely a pig tail to connect heated gear to the direct to the battery or for a battery tender or both.  Does it look like either end of these plugs?  If so that’s what it’s for.
