World population in 2019 was 7.7 billion
So the % of the world population who have died with Covid19 is 0.000104....
For some perspective;
1.3 million died of T.B. in 2016We are causing a global recession  for what?

Fair point. Although comparing death rates at this point in time is maybe premature. We'll be able to make a more
informed comparison when we come out of the other side of it.

You are being naive. This will kill more than Flu does every year. One expert from Kings College yesterday was estimating possibly 200k deaths in the UK alone. It could be a lot worse. With Flu a lot of the population has had the flu jab, so a lot do not get it. There is no protection to this virus. Another worse case scenario in the modelling, is 80% of UK population will get this virus, or will have had it and not known, so even if you then work out a % death rate, its a lot.

Not be naive at all.  How do you know it will kill more than the Flu does?? Are you also an expert??  Statistics statistics.  Estimations are not fact.  They said the aids would infect and kill millions, it never.

No protection??  The very government and media that you trust so much, have already mentioned they may have a vaccine shortly it mentioned.

But regardless, your now just talking rubbish...saying 80% of the uk, that’s 40 million. We will come back to this in a few months...  unbelievable.

Facts not gossip or estimates.  Look up the Spanish flu , that’s scary!!  Fact it killed millions!!

If they're anything like HSBC they'll be worried about their automated machines contracting the virus.

As a motorcyclist, my thoughts are to follow the UK government guidelines now and avoid unnecessary social contact. It's too cold out there at the moment anyway. Hopefully, this action will help to reduce the period of time that these voluntary restrictions are in place. I'd rather lose 12 weeks now in the hope of not losing the full year later. The RT annual meet is in July, that's 16 weeks away.

I would say that riding a motorcycle is social isolation I certainly plan to be more than 2 meters away from anyone.  Was out and about today in the car  went to the local Costco around 1 today.  Fuel station  car in front of me  BM x530 series  he filled up his tank  £4.78  he probably used more fuel getting to the pump.  I think Costco must be limiting the number of people in the store now  there was a queue outside the store round 2 sides and into the car park.  If they were looking at allowing people within to have some space there certainly was non outside the store.

Has to go to Asda this evening  out of cat food the place was virtually empty of product  including cat food!!    fkin Crazy
