Has anyone replaced their front rotors with a superior non-stock aftermarket alternative?  If so, what brand/model and why did you choose?

Thanks in advance for your valuable feedback...

I tried aftermarket rotors and found them to be lacking in quality. I am sure there are exceptions. I also found the stock OEM replacements to be so high priced that I won't buy them.

Consider salvage rotors. OEM quality, and in many cases very low mileage.

Seen em at 178 euros then there would be delivery and whatever tax if applicable.

Thats each.

Is there "anything" superior to Brembo.

Has anyone tried these, Brembo Serie Oro, https://www.omniaracing.net/en/brembo-s ... 60400.html

"The Serie Oro is a line designed by Brembo for the replacement of original equipment fixed discs with brake discs of superior characteristics".

On the 1250, BMW have switched to Hayes calipers but are still using Brembo discs.

I have not replaced the rotors on my Wethead RT. But I have replaced them on a V Strom with Chinese replacement parts. Worked ok...but rusted up right away.
