Resetting Service indicator

Hi, Have a general question. Just purchased a 2013 1200 rt. Service indicator bar is on. How do I reset it? Do I need a special gauge? No BMW motorcycle shops near where I live. Thanks

I have one. Its a great piece of kit. Found a fault log on the alarm which Dealer confirmed was nothing.

The GS-911 is a good bit of kit, I think there's a cheaper option for using a device for resetting the the service reminder. "MotoScan | Professional BMW motorcycle diagnostic app"

There are a few UK owners of gs-911 who will reset your service-o-meter for a score. Look em up on ebay. (Not me BTW)

If you have an Android mobile device you might want to look into the MotoScan app...that, coupled with the right Bluetooth OBD2 reader and an adapter cable is a fraction of the cost of a GS-911.
MotoScan can reset service reminders and do many of the functions of a GS-911.
