I can't claim the video, just found it after a "Google" search.

My understanding is that the fault code will be present until it is reset using a GS-911 or at your local BMW dealer.

Once the fault code is cleared, it shouldn't re-appear unless of course, the flap movement becomes restricted or seized again.

An update on my flap issues!
The flap has seized again so I’ve disconnected the servo cables. I now get the servo adjustment error but no ‘blown’ fuse recorded.


The limp mode problem turned out to be a dicky camshaft sensor which has been replaced 👍
