Extra Power Socket Location.

Post by Our Gee »

During the coming winter period I am going to fit an extra power socket which will connect direct to the battery terminals. Iv'e been looking at the "offside" (UK) Plastic under seat trim and note that there is a moulded shape which is directly opposite the already existing socket on the "nearside". Has anyone made this location a home for the extra socket and is there any problems "cutting" the required hole.
Thanks.

Not a power socket but I did fit a bulkhead helmet connector for a Starcom there and a 3.5mm jack extension. Didn't cause me any issues.
