Chrome metal rack for over the saddle bags or luggage as people also call them.

Post by Dartman340ta »

I’m looking for metal rack that covers saddle bags or luggage bags.  I’ve seen them somewhere for sale but can’t find the site where I seen them.  I thought it was wunderlich here in the states.  No show in there protection section.  So here we go.  Hope to find out something on here

Something to bear in mind is the maximum recommended weight carried in each case is around 10kg or 22 pounds. (Hexhead and Twincam luggage). Presumably the case itself will be full to capacity if extra carrying space is required and that such additional luggage carried on top of an already fully loaded case could exceed the limit. Do you already have the BMW Top Case ?.

If not riding with a passenger, how about a luggage rack over the pillion seat, https://maplefarkles.com/index.php/prod ... ons/bmw-lr

Riding with a passenger would be awkward with stuff loaded on top of the side cases.
