Hey Guys,

I installed my Ram Mount next to the Nav V and the speedometer app I like. Let me know what you think?

This is what I used for the mount. You will also need a longer stainless steel screw M5 - 0.8 x 30mm, a stainless washer and lock washer, and a drop of Lock-tight. I also put some double-sided tape on it to keep it in place. Along with the Ram Mount items. Cost was around $60.00.SteveRAM 9mm Angled Bolt Head Adapter Ball Basehttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1618NSCgmhiL._AC_SL1000_.jpghttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055PH0XA/re ... Hey Guys,

Here's one more App I've tried and really like. Not only just your speed but also map, compass and a built in I-Pod player, all on the same screen at the same time. This version is $3.99 and is a little complicated to set up but once you do it seems good.

This App works great. I just came in from a ride and I was trying different settings on it to see which I liked best, here today in Arizona it's 22C/72F sunny and wonderful.

Hey Guys,

Just an update for a different speedometer app I've been using. It has way more than just the speed showing at the same time, like Google maps, a compass, your speed and even a I-Pod player. The speed numbers are easy to read and it works great after you get it set up which is a pain but not too bad.

Just FYI, the new phones all have image stabilization built in to the cameras.  The vibrations of the motorcycle can really screw with that.  If you end up having problems, make sure you don't say anything about motorcycle mounting because many people have had warranty claims voided because of that.  If you do an online search, you can find numerous stories about this.

Here is an example of damage to image stabilization due to use on a motorcycle. Problem occurs when taking photos or video.
More common on Single Cylinder, V-Twins, Boxer engines than inline engines due to vibration. Also seen on off road bikes.  Several companies have vibration dampeners available now and others are working on them.
Trying to take video of poster on wall and you can see the results. Can also hear the image stabilizer making a rattling noise when it fails.
