Nav 6, R1200RT 2018, My Motorcycle app not showing.

As title, I have a 2018 RT with a NAV 6, but can't see the My Motorcycle app, which believe is supposed to work on post 2017 models. It works on our 2020 1250RT.
Is there an update to anything to make it work?

Can't remember if it worked on my 1200 or not, I don't think it did, but I'm sure someone will correct me soon if it does! If it does not show it and it is supposed to work it will most likely a dealer tweak to get the mod done (I guess:-() Peter

My previous bike was a 2018 R1200RT, which was supplied from new with the Nav6. I don't remember it ever having the 'My Motorcycle' app.
I've recently changed bikes to a 2020 R1250RT and the 'My Motorcycle' info appeared on the Nav6 (same Nav unit transferred from old to new bike, with no updates to the Nav). I think the 'My Motorcycle' info is generated from the bike, and the 1250 produces it and the 1200 doesn't? ???

On a '17 RT, I remember I could select View with the menu button and then scroll with the wonder wheel to get to the My Motorcycle page.
However I don't know if the My Motorcycle app is visible when the Nav VI isn't in the craddle.

Initially it was only available if you had audio fitted. But I seem to remember, some of the later bikes had it, but it seemed to depend on software as some had it, others didn't. Thought there was another thread on here about it a couple of years ago, maybe worth a search.

Works on the 17 1200. Unit must be in cradle and bike powered on, I believe, used it yesterday no issues. See if there's an upgrade for your Garmin unit.

Doesn't work on my 17 . Nothing to do with garmin needs BMW update. Personally not that bothered.

Just to add a bit more confusion -
My 2018 had it on a Nav 5, then it disappeared for whatever reason, then co-incidentally I got a different Nav 5 and the bike went in to the dealers to have the SOS reset or whatever and it came out with the 'My Bike' app working.
Am I any the more informed? Not really, I can only suspect that when the dealer updated the software for the SOS it brought the 'My Bike' back on.
Confused of Pulborough... ???

Lmfao just had warrenty work done and now have my motorcycle app. Bike MY17 no radio.
Love bmw, key fob not working now.

So, I have both a 2015 R1200GS and 2015 R1200RT... both have the Nav V units. The GS has the "My Motorcycle" app, but the RT does not. The RT has the audio system, clearly the GS does not. I was wondering the same thing... wanted to add it to the RT.

Initially I didn’t have the ‘my bike’ feature on my (no radio) 2018RT’s Nav 5, but it went in for an SOS warning which was solved by an update and came out with the ‘my bike’ visible too.
Logic says it’s a visit to BMW to get them to update or switch on.
