Heated seat working?

I have just bought a 2016 LC which has Wunderlich seats. Both are heated but how can you tell if they are actually working? I tried the rider seat today (yes I know it was about 20C) as I wanted to check. I couldn’t feel any heat through it so will it only work below a certain temperature? I put it all the way up to 5 bars on the dash.

They are quite slow to warm up so you will need to leave it a while. I get three or four miles down the road before I can feel it. I would think that you will feel it even with current temperatures given sufficient time but if you can try it early in the morning when the bike is at its coldest it might be easier.

Cheers. I’m new to this heated seat stuff, plus cruise, ESA, electric screen etc.
