Just had some correspondence with a VJMC member who is trying to trace the present owner of a bike he once owned himself.
"We have tried the DVLA but they won’t give out current owners addresses which is fair enough from a security stand point. Trying to trace a pre-owned vehicle is outside their criteria unfortunately".

Might be a long shot but what about publishing the Reg Number on an appropriate Forum. Incidentally, what is VJMC.

Yes, I have the Reg. No., a guy from the VJMC (Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club) sent it to me to circulate, as I'm a coordinator for the local section.
