New to me R1200RT

Post by junglie »

I’ve finally gone and done it!

2013 R1200RT 90 Jahre edition.

39k, FBMWSH, looks to be in good condition, front and rear crash bars and the usual spec other than a radio.

Gets delivered on Fri so excited to see what I have!

Was a toss up between an ST1300 and an R1200RT so I hope I have done the right thing.

Next purchase is a comms set up for speech and music.

A Park Talk Bold seems to be the front runner and discounted to £200 at present.

Pictures to follow……

Welcome.  I have a 2012.  They're great bikes.

I also have the Cardo Packtalk Bold.  My mate is interested in getting one.  Who has it for £200 at the moment?

I've just bought a Cardo freedom 4 plus. One of the better intercoms ive had. Everything is voice controlled so no need to touch it whilst riding. I don't ride with others but to future proof, i can link up with 4 other riders. Half the price of a talk pack bold which i would only buy it i rode with up to 8 other riders all the time.
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

I have just received a Fodsports M1-S Plus via Aliexpress for £64 delivered, not tried it on the bike yet, but it seems to work fine.
