Removing mirror r1200RT 2010

I am trying to take the mirror glass off according the haynes manual. I don't seem to get the set screw loose or my TORX screwdriver is not set into the setscrew? Because I need to go through the hole in the bottom of the mirror I don't have any visibility and I don't know what I am doing.
Does anybody know what size of TORX the set set screw is? It is not mentioned anywhere.
There is 1 youtube movie about it but also here is no mentioning about the TORX size.
I tried already several times without success and I am about to give up...
Anyone with some experience with this that could give me some tips?
