Hi all - after loving for nine years, but barely riding, a Diavel Strada, I've traded in and have bought a 2014 R1200RT. The aim is to do more touring, which is probably a given, in a bit more comfort. Whilst my wife and I have toured northern Spain and Scotland on the Diavel, it was definitely a tight squeeze, the lack of luggage space meant travelling very light and the heat from the exhaust on my right leg in standing traffic... Hopefully the RT will make things that bit easier.
