The RT is much lighter than the GTL. I'm in my late 60's and weight is making a difference as I get older. I also think the RT handles better than the GTL on the freeway at freeway speed in turbulent air.

I gotcha. I’m 64 and my wife decided she wanted to ride with me again but she hated the RT as a passenger hence my reason for changing. I do miss the handling of the RT but love the power and smoothness of the K bike.
