BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

Ambient temp sensor stopped working. All you see now on the screen is ---F. Sometimes the temp will show on the screen but will show 146 F and start climbing and then go blank again. Any suggestions as to the correction to this problem?
I changed the sensor that is mounted to the right-side fairing no change.

If it worked intermittently and not when you changed the sensor, suggests to me that there could be a wiring fault somewhere and not the sensor.
