Front wheel removal aid

Hi
So fed up with the ice, salt and snow being back on the roads once again that I'm farkling again!!
I'm getting together everything we might need for a summer of extended touring as much of Scotland, the North East, Hadrian's Wall and the Lakes as we can manage.
So, what about when I need to take the front wheel off in the field (or anywhere else)?
I made up a couple of the attached rigs to carry so that having lifted the wheel onto some heavy rubber slips I can slip the ex-walking sticks under the sump to support the front end while it's sans wheel.
Slip them under (one each side the the sump to spread the load and for stability) partially extended because the wheel is already up then the upper nut (plain - not Nyloc) will adjust either by hand if there's enough free play or if not with the adjustable spanner until the slips under the wheel will come out.
It really only takes a couple of minutes to get the bike up and stable until the repair is done and the wheel is back in place.

Just a development. I bought these airbag jacks. I've used them and they work really well. About £13 for the three and using the two smallest ones under the front wheel and with both inflation bulbs in one hand only, the back wheel was pushing into the ground after only about ten pumps. They seem tough little monkeys and stow away in the panniers nicely. They'll make it so much easier getting the bike up onto the sump supports so I can take the wheel off if I need to on a ride.
