250CCA rating of the MOTOBATT MBTX16U battery sufficient for starting larger displacement motorcycles, or should a higher CCA rating be considered?

My 2012 Camhead (K26) is fitted with an Exide GEL 12-19, 170 CCA battery. Started the bike yesterday for the first time in over 4 months, it fired up at the second push of the button.

AFAIK, the BMW (Exide) OE battery for a K52 is 200 CCA.

alright! thanks fo reply, I think the main thing is to take care of your battery during long periods of inactivity to ensure it stays charged and ready to use.
