I just put my bikes details in to https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/footer/quick-l ... calls.html and find it has "an open technical enhancement", anyone know what this enhancement involves, it's a 2018 R1250rt?

I have had no contact from BMW ref this 'enhancement'

Thanks for the link Glenn. My 07 is clear or they have given up at that age
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

So far reading through that link they say it's clutch update, a kickstand issue, an ESA update, they don't know what it's for.

I rang the dealer yesterday. Software upgrade. Not urgent so will do at the next service.
Takes between 35 mins and 4 hours depending on the bike. Touch screen ones are the ones that take longest.
