GS's have a hole drilled in the swingarm fitted with a one-way valve to let the water out.

RT's aren't waterproof.

I ride in all weathers. To me its a form of transport and pleasure. Rain and drizzle have never put me off getting out in the fresh air
Never seen a dirty GS come to think of it

My GS riding buddy has fitted road tyres to his off road bike.
