Foot pegs …

So on my 2019 the foot pegs look nasty, stained alloy and just naff. I took one of the pillion pegs off and managed to get the rubber off 
, some wire wool and autosol has it looking a little better but I’m still not happy. Any ideas for a fussy git on making these look good ?.
