Wind Deflectors???

Post by Randyjaco »

In my quest for a cooler summer ride, I would like to remove the clear wind deflectors underneath the windshield. There seem to be 2 screws that are inaccessible. Does anyone know how to access those wind deflectors?

I've read in other forums that the removal of most of the dashboard is necessary to get to the two screws that hold the wind deflectors on. Has anyone taken the trouble to remove the wind deflectors for more airflow in warm weather? Is it worth the effort?

Its a fair bit of work to get to them! Personally I wouldn't bother with all the effort

Yeah, after I figured out how much work it was, I realized that I would have to repeat the process each season :o
