Coming unstuck

Post by burridge01 »

Me RT's turned into an airfix model.
Left the Pico's on Wednesday, it was 42c.As we rode up to Irun me right panel started showing a gap,by the time I pulled into the services the panel had completely come away, losing 1 tab and the other hanging in the slot. These were the replacement tabs I got from America. The heat had melted the supplied glue.

The left panel is doing the same.
Quick bodge and on our way again, all holding on so will do a proper repair when I get home

That’s a nuisance, not as important but still irritating was my dashcam unsticking from under my mirror on the Pan in Italy.
I understand that the glue that cures with infra red or whatever, it’s certainly stuck my chipped tooth back in!

Always carry Duck tape and cable ties. Bit belt and braces but you never know when you need them
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
