Yesterday i started a couple of hours ride out. Thought i'll have a nice slow ride to Worthing which is about 45 minutes away. Have a cold Coke and ride home but not all planes go as they started. 4.5 hours later i ended up having a Coke but overlooking Margate seafront.
Kept off the Motorways and stuck on the A & B road. Another 4.5 hours and 267 miles, later i arrived home to a cold roast dinner.

Something similar yesterday but it was a planned ride!

360 mile round trip to the lake district to take a mate over hardknott pass

Set off at 0730 and returned at 2130
