Hi from Southern California!
I recently picked up a 34k miles young 2005 R1200RT and have been so happy with the bike. Such a great ride and handles amazing, handles better than bikes a fraction of the size. This is the second BMW I've owned (prior was a K1200S) and only thing close in sport touring that I've owned in 35 years of street riding was a Honda VFR800. I've owned most types/brands of bikes and still ride sport and supermoto (and do track days) as well. She's joining stablemates of an Aprilia Tuono 1100RR, Kawasaki ZX6R, Yamaha YZ450F and soon departing Triumph Speed Triple 1050R.
