Hello from New Hampshire, USA

Post by imagingh »

Hello All,

Been a BMW rider the majority of my life, started with a K100RT in 1985, and then to a K1600GTL in 2013. Recently did a two week tour of the Alps through Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany and Austria on a 2023 R1250RT and fell in love with the bike. I'm now planning to sell or trade my K1600 and purchase an RT. Joining to learn more about the RT from the group.

Thank you,

Dave

Welcome from Friendswood, Texas. I was born in Laconia and lived in Meredith for the first 5 years of my life. :-D
I have been back a couple of times. Some great riding, but I can't handle the winters.

After you get your RT look up a fellow inmate named BoxFlyer.

Welcome to the site. one of the plus of a RT is it lighter the then 1600. Having tried a K1600 i found it very heavy high up
