Removing ONE layer of paint.

Post by burridge01 »

I have a project that is requiring me to remove ONE layer of paint without ruining the original 1960's paint underneath. I have made a start and am having good results using Nitromors and wire wool, with a final rub down of 2000grit,wet n dry.

The nitromors hasn't gone through to the metalwork, that's the seat spring marks.

Has anybody done anything similar with other technics and had good results.I have a hell of a lot more to do,or failing that,a source of cheap Nitromors :thumb:
