Fork seal in Mexico

I blew a fork seal today (2009 R1200RT). I can see how it happened on the wretched (topes, truck convoys, no sholder, greasy wet pavement, potholes) crta. 180 before the Isla del Carmen bridge. (Really, an hour and a half of the worst, bumpiest, ruttiest, greasiest road...so many trucks, so many topes). Anyhow, thinking about it, I think this (yet nameless vehicle) should be able to make it to Cancun, where there is a Motorrad dealer, (about 700 km) without being too dangerous. Other than that, the nameless vehicle, has performed pretty well the last 3000 miles down from San Francisco.
