Not Flu

Post by EasyRider »

So yesterday i went to the doctors as i am still feeling crap for over a week now.
I thought i had flu, but it turns out i have a chest infection.
I'm now on a course of 6 steroids and 2 antibiotics tabs per day for the next 10 days.
I was told if i feel no change by monday i have to go back to the doc's.
Normaly i just keep warm and rest as much as i can when i'm feeling unwell, and just potter if board.
But this time its knocked me for 6, now i know why it took it out of me when i fitted the handlebars the other day.
I can't remember the last time i had a chest infection of any sort.
Not sleeping that well, i get maybe 2 hours and then i wake up coughing.
I just hope the meds work and i feel better soon.
I'm even sleeping on the settee so i dont wake the wife up with me coughing so much.

I had it, my wife had it and loads of people I know have had what I've been told is called 'a six week' cold. It knocks you for six and is miserable. Hot milk & Brandy (sorry let's get the proportions right, hot Brandy & milk) helped me sleep, but really time is the only cure.

Get well soon.
