width of r1200rt

Hi All
Looking at 2015 R1200RT but need to know if it will fit through my door, max width of door is 36 inches, anyone know the actual max width? various websites say nearer 39 inches, is that across the heads or somewhere else i may be able to wiggle through, bars maybe?

Mirror tip to mirror tip on my 2017 is 39inches.

Sounds like you need to move house… 8-)

They do fold in but not by much. Try a test ride.

I dont think it will fit. the RT is a meter wide and the mirrors dont go in that much.

Thanks guys, non starter in the end, (the width not the bike).
Settled for a crosstourer.
