Apple EarPods link to TFT.

Post by Andybzx9r »

Just bought my 2021 RT but I haven’t got a helmet with Bluetooth connection as yet.
I thought I could just use my Apple EarPods linked to my phone which in turn would be linked to the TFT but that doesn’t seem to work.
Anyone any thoughts on this ?
I was thinking of buying a Cardo Bluetooth can anyone advise is this a better idea and do Cardo units work well with the TFT ?
Cheers folks.

I have not tied Airpods or anything like that I am a pactalk bold user and not TFT

But I suspect you will have to pair to the TFT with the Airpods then pair the phone to the TFT

TBH and from experience of my airpods I can’t see how they’d fit inside a hemet with any degree of comfort, and would a purpose made helmet comms unit be it Sena or Cardo.

In regard to the TFT equipped models I’m sure someone with one will help.

I’ve tried to connect the pods to the bike but it doesn’t recognise them.
It’s only a temporary fix until I get helmet coms.
I hold the pods in my ear by using a silk balaclava under my lid.

Thanks for the replies guys.
